Blue Light Special!

It's happening! Grateful-J took my suggestion to "just hang a bare bulb" in the forthcoming Book Nook (still unpainted)--BUT, he also found a couple Chinese lanterns for them--and in blue, the store color.

Grateful-J, on ladder, and Big Boss:

Feng Shui we have not.
BOOK's are in the back room, through the door at left, below, and kids' books are immediately to the right of the red blanket (Faribo!)
--it will be great to have book sections connected.

Some customers comment "Oh, I didn't know there was a back room" because there's only the one small interconnecting door in the back corner.

Faces, side-by-side:

I'm happy that the Book Nook is happening, but last night I was  genuinely sad:
with the snow, only one group of trick-or-treaters came to the door. Even the girlettes, who are almost never sad, were sad because they felt unnoticed in the lit-up windows. (Though I bet lots of people did notice them in the day, there just wasn't foot traffic last night. And I'm on a quiet corner, anyway.)

But now they are over it and planning their next adventure, which I do not know what that is.

On we go to the next season, season of the embryo plasma creatures!

Happy November!

  2. Looking forward to plasma jolly time. Girlettes look well pleased and are appreciated even if not in person with nose pressed against the glass, love their Halloween enthusiasm. Love! ❤️

  3. Would the girlettes be comfortable with Thanksgiving, as it is problematic? They could create a new holiday (or pick one from the calendar of holidays). I too look forward to their new adventures.

    1. KATHY: The girlettes didn’t know about Thanksgiving or the meaning of “problematic”, so they read up on the history of the original Thanksgiving of 1621 and were HORRIFIED that quite likely EELS were served.
Generally the girlettes love all animals but they draw the line at eels.
“Eels look like they eat dolls,” this at.

So they say no, no thank you to Thanksgiving—
Eels are indeed problematic to them.

  6. Tell the girlettes that eels are just tasty sea monsters. But we will not be serving eel at our Thanksgiving dinner, if any of them care to come.

    1. BINK: no, no, they will have nothing to do with eels, it is against their religion! (as of today 😄)
