Are they stem buttons so they are easy to sew on? She is looking happier already.
RIVER: Yes, luckily they are stem buttons--we say "shank" here--I haven't actually sewn them on yet as the bear needs washing and mending first.
Shank is the word I meant and couldn't think of. Thank you.
