Frederic Gives Birth

Frederic—the potato I planted that had sprouted in the thrift store during Stay-at-Home—has given birth to four mini-spuds!

They are all such good helpers! Clearly don[t mind getting potato all over their clothes. And such hearty spuds they are, too! Well done!

Yum! I remember the taste of fresh home grown spuds. Will they be baking them in the coals of a bonfire? Cooking them inside?

How proud they are! It's a joy to behold.

Yes, the Girlettes look to be having such fun harvesting! Garden potatoes do taste different than those in the store.

Thanks, everybody! The girlettes are very proud of Frederic and the harvest.
I am going to save one of the potatoes in a cool, dark place and plant it in the spring.
