Covers (DO YOUR OWN WORK)

[deleted rant about work]
I love my job at the store so much, I need to stay within confines where I am not afflicted with Terminal Annoyance.

Again (again! again!) I think:
For godsake, DO YOUR OWN WORK!!!

I want to take more photos of book covers!!!
(And innards.)
Here are a few:

1. Dog Days

2.

3. Powers was a department store in downtown Minneapolis. The library date-stamp sheet on the inside cover of this book is dated 1951.

  1. Rental libraries in department stores: there was a time indeed.

And a Lassie book, published by Whitman, and it's Whitman’s 200th birthday today. Synchronicity!

  2. I would like to buy the Singer Dressmaking book, if you still have it. I have two Singer machines, one of which is about 45-46 years old; might be the same age as the book?

  3. I used to have a Lassie book very similar to that one! Such a pang of nostalgia I felt seeing that photo!

  4. MICHAEL:I thought of you with that Lassie book. But isn't that dog on the back wrong? "Mike" isn't it? is an unspecified Small, right, not a beagle or Basset hound?

CROW: It is yours! It's a pamphlet actually (30-some pages), from 1957. I'll email you.

STEVE: I know that pang well.
