I stopped myself from buying these...

1970s smoky avocado stemmed barware with frosted lozenges, at the thrift store.
Our pricing is totally crazy--sometimes way high, but this is a steal: four for $5.
Gee, maybe I should buy them...

  1. I'd buy them in a heartbeat! I love old glassware and have to stop myself from buying it at times.

They are sort of like Fostoria but not. Fostoria was made in West Virginia if I remember correctly and in the 80's was highly sought after. If there is an "L" script in the base they are Libbey which was also good glassware.

And these I haven't seen before.

    Just my dime!

  2. I was going to guess Anchor Hocking — flashing back to my days as a housewares stock clerk.

  3. Thanks, Kirsten & Michael:
I am seeing the errors of my ways--if they're still there today, they are mine!
