A favorite sign––"no doges"–– on a nearby home-owned convenience store.
Misspelled words such as "doges", here, (or my
store's "BOOK'S") intrigue me––they are like archeological remains, a trace of
genetic material of spelling instructions: how to make a word plural, or
possessive.
Get along, little doges, get along, get along.
ReplyDeleteHeh! That's it!
ReplyDeleteMom and Pope store.
ReplyDelete"Pope"--- ha, ha! Took me a minute.

ReplyDeleteHey, Krista--thanks! I had totally missed that meme in all my wanderings!
