I dreamed I was clearing out a basement full of broken, dirty, discarded stuff. Plus, someone's mother had died down there, years ago. (Not mine. Uh huh.)
Hauling the junk out was very satisfying.
I was just starting to blast all the basement's surfaces clean with a high-pressure hose when I woke up. Disappointed. I always wanted to use one.

I guess you can rent? buy? a water blaster here. That's where I got the picture anyway.
All that pressure used to cleanse.
ReplyDeleteSo now I'm on a high-pressure hose training site, and at the top of the risk(izourbuziness)section - I love this - "At least 13 fatalities have been reported since the advent of the pressure washer."
Great opening sentence, as with bink's bagel line . . .
At least 13 fatalities have been reported since the advent of the pressure washer; the first DVD came in a bagful of bagels.
Let them do the figuring.
Also on the site:
"Do not attempt to repair a high-pressure hose. If it is damaged, replace it with a new one."
ps.
you'll shoot your eye out
I rented a pressure washer for the foundation of the house. If I misaimed, I'd hit the dirt and get this backsplash of muddy water.
ReplyDeleteWhen I returned the washer (before I'd had a chance to clean up) the kid at the counter said, "You look like you had waaaaay too much fun!"
I love that picture! Intense! :D And there is something so satisfying about the idea of intense water pressure. Everything's cleaner...
ReplyDeleteMARZ: "At least 13 fatalities have been reported since the advent of the pressure washer."
ReplyDeleteBut surely more than 13 people have died since the pressure washer was invented...
KAREN: Next time, invite me!
JENN: Yes, the idea at least is satisfying, isn't it!
And often that's enough for me. But I was sorry to wake up before I got the experience (as it were).
Well, I think I also need water blaster of pressure hose to clean our garage. Anyway, thanks for sharing this post. I've got an idea.
ReplyDelete-seff-
What a satisfying thing to dream. As if all this time all that was needed was to rent that pressure washer. Don't you love the unconscious?
ReplyDeleteThat is a stunning picture of Electric Water Blaster
