I’d like to write about the death of this blogger from the (my) early days of blogging, Heather Armstrong, aka Dooce, and what a punch in the gut it is, but I’m at work… I just found this, which says it better than I could:

The news hit me hard too. I don't really have anything to say about her death except that yeah, she did truly try so very hard to stay alive and for some people, that is just not possible.
