Beautiful :) My daughter's genealogy showed she is 1% Jewish from my side, so I checked my family tree album and I have a great grandfather with a Jewish middle name. That explains why we like Menorahs.
SARAH: Yes, it's a picture book called "Elijah's Angel: A Tale for Chanukah and Christmas" about the artist Elijah Pierce, wood carver and sculptor, who becomes friends with a little Jewish boy.
RIVER: Interesting--when my father had his DNA tested, I also learned I have a smidgen of Jewish ancestry--his family was from Sicily, crossroads of the Mediterranean world, so not too surprising he was "5% Jewish diaspora". Guess that makes me 2.5%
