Squirrel Watch
Low is concerned about marauding squirrels digging up Frederic, the thrift store potato. She has installed squirrel guards: herself, and an old grill grate.
She is out there day and night. (. . .Also, she likes listening to the roots growing.)
I can think of nothing better than listening to roots grow.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
ReplyDeleteThe grate is a great idea and I love the sweet little chair.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a good idea to have a squirrel barrier! Although I don't think they tried to dig up our seed potatoes last year...
ReplyDeleteRIVER: I hope the grate works. Isn't that chair perfect? :)
ReplyDeleteSTEVE: I've had squirrels dig into my potted geraniums--the only thing I planted in my last apartment--I think for the moist soil, not to eat the plants. So I'm thinking a barrier is a good precaution.
