Tulip at Home

Tulip the golden mohair bear, has arrived at her new home in Upstate New York, where she will live with my friend Krista.

You can see Tulip's Restoration, Part 1, here (follow links to parts 2 &3).

The Orphan Reds had presented her with a little bear (thrift store rescue) as a traveling companion, so she wouldn't have to fly alone in the dark.

  1. Tulip looks a little pensive but maybe excited on the inside. Love that the Orphan Reds gave her her own little bear.

    Mohair bears are the best!

  3. That bear has good friends.

I got Elaine a tiny bear just like that white one when she was in the hospital many moons ago. Name: Pnin, the Nabokov character.

  4. KIRSTEN: She is a thoughtful bear. I'd say that Bears of earlier eras often are less overtly happy than modern bears.

BINK: Yes. Very pleased, Krista reports.

MICHAEL: TINY BEARS! I told Krista about Pnin. Thanks.
