Arthur C. Clarke

Speaking of sci-fi as social commentary, Arthur C. Clarke, author of 2001: A Space Odyssey died this past March 19.
Forty-one years ago, in 1967, he said:
"As our own species is in the process of proving, one cannot have superior science and inferior morals. The combination is unstable and self-destroying."
