Col-LABOR-ative DAY

I’m working on the Circus collage, cutting and glueing paper in the shade outside my door on this hot Labor Day. (It’s 92 and going up, but low humidity.)

I hadn’t been thinking “circus” when I started this, so I was temporarily thrown when E gave the figure a clown face. Now I’m getting into it.

At the end of the day, it looked like this:

    it's interesting how our thoughts change as others change the art. i'm starting to love this! the globe as juggling balls and the small bicycle/trapeze rider.

      Thanks, KIRSTEN! I’m starting to love it too! I wasn’t sure that would happen…
      I’ve added an acrobat that I like even better—will post progress later.

      Us too—HOT now, then 70s soon for a nice stretch—my favorite temperature decade!!!
