It’s happening!
I took bright fur from under her arm joints and grafted it into her threadbare eye areas. (Replaced it with wool felt.)
surgery success! Excellent save and yes, the eyes on wire looks like trouble!
Pirate had a similar bear...his first bear...and eventually he received a knitted pullover to cover his bare patch...the bear not pirate!!
She's such a pretty, winning, little bear! She is joy!
Lucy looks like she's had a lot of cuddly loving to get to such a threadbare state.
