Portrait of Pearl Duquette: Shark Attack Survivor

Here's my second watercolor (gouache) portrait of a girlette. This is Pearl Duquette.  (The first was Eeva and Pulla.)

She says she lost her right forearm in a shark attack.

  2. I'm so glad she managed to get away from that shark, perhaps we only wanted a snack not a full meal. Lovely painting.

  3. LINDA SUE: Thanks! The Duquettes are from a rough-and-tumble circus family---they are always losing limbs and the like.

RIVER: I am so glad that people don't throw out the wounded dolls, so ones like Pearl can find new homes.
It must have been a very small shark, eh? :)
