I love Penny Cooper's frilly socks and little shoes. I remember my doll having socks and shoes, but when they wore out replacements could not be found in any toy shop, not even ordered in, they simply weren't available, so my poor Maryann had bare feet the rest of her life. one of my daughters owns her now and I think she is buried in a wardrobe somewhere :(, she's a big doll, one of the walking-talking types.
