A few photos from around the neighborhood
I've seen lots of stay-at-home bears wearing masks and watching the world go by.
Last week, Noodle discovered a gnome home by the creek. I don't think it was there before--I think I'd have noticed. (Maybe not!)
Perhaps the gnome has just come out of hibernation.
Another mural of animals. This neighborhood is not hip, nor (much) gentrified, so some wonderful, old non-artsy art lingers.
Has the goose (bottom right) wandered from the barnyard to the wildlife side?
The polar bear is my favorite--I feel flattened like that sometimes. Or maybe bear has just eaten too much ice-cream, which is also familiar to some of us who have been eating considerably more ice-cream during this stay-at-home...
Minneapolis has much more exciting neighborhoods than in VA. Here we just are having lots of cars on the street and people walking an already crowded trail because the weather is so nice today.
ReplyDeleteI am having to avoid ice cream as I am tending to eating all of it at one time. Trader Joe's has a mint chocolate chip that i love.
I had a comment on the story but it seems to have disappeared. Blogspot and typepad are having issues today!

Minneapolis is okay.
ReplyDeleteMy "new" (9 months now!) neighborhood is much less crowded than my old one--there's plenty of room to spread out at parkland along the lakes, river & creek in this area.
I was back to my old neighborhood this past week, and it was nerve wracking how crowded the parks were.
Darn--I'm sorry Blogger ate your comment on my story. I am interested to hear your opinion.
I DO have a problem with eating all the ice cream! It helps that I share groceries with HM & her son, so I have to leave some ice-cream for them.
Also for the girlettes.
The polar bear is great! Is that mint or pistachio or neither?
