Marz's birthday is tomorrow, and like so many people who want to celebrate a special occasion during social distancing, we can't very well do it in person.
I'm sad we can't hang out tomorrow––except from across the street––but it's not unnatural to make her a ludicrous image-macro story instead. It's the sort of thing fans separated by time and space do.

ReplyDeleteLovely to meet you-and at the moment virtual is the way to go! This is hilarious. I think I know what pudding cake is, but what is crisco? My favourite go to cake is banana loaf and I have recently made a few of those. I am determined to eat lots of cake at the moment as who knows what is around the corner? Pudding cake--I suppose it's a relative of a cake with treacle or custard?---something with a wet, goopy element! :)
William Shatner (Kirk) famously ("famous" to fans, that is) did a TV commercial (or something) eating a spoonful of pudding.
Crisco is the brand name of the no. 1 solid vegetable lard--used for pie crusts and frostings... and also (hence the joke) a cheap sex lube.
YES! to your plan to eat cake!
I'm going to make small springtime cakes using molds for making mini-wedding cakes. (I've never used them.)
