My auntie (in Wisconsin) has a friend who is an accomplished knitter. This friend volunteered to knit a doll sweater, if I would mail her the measurements of a girlette.
I couldn't wrap a measuring tape around the girlettes' tiny arms, so I mailed a girlette to WI. (One of the new ones, named Tag.)
This morning the friend emailed me that she and Tag had a "measuring and style consult appointment" this afternoon.
Just now (2 p.m.), she sent me this photo of her knitting group. . .
(Auntie is far left. She's ninety-four and a half.)
... saying, "The group has decided that these v are Tag's colors."
These girlettes! They have more friends than I do!
