Red Books

I faced red books forward around the BOOK's for Valentine's Day.

  1. Love that you take the effort to up the ante on the displays. Sometimes just moving something makes it sell.

Did you know that red is a good color to catch peoples eyes when you are trying to sell something?

  2. I love the red facing-forward theme! Subtile yet eye-catching. You should do that other times of the year too. Green for St. Patrick's Day. Orange for Halloween. Etc.

  3. Thanks, Kirsten & bink!
The pockets of red books do catch your eye in the store.
And yes, now they're visible, already a couple books that had been on the shelves for months have sold.
    Yay!

Good idea to do it for other holidays too. Last June, for Pride I arranged each section in rainbow patterns.

It does take quite a while though... (and it can be hard on the hands, hours of handling books).
I need to recruit a volunteer or two to help with this sort of thing.
