The Windmills of Trump's Mind

Did you see Trump's latest rant, about windmills
“I know windmills very much, I have studied it better than anybody.”
bink said, "It is beautifully deranged. Too bad about the deranged part though."

It reminds me of the trippy song "The Windmills of Your Mind", sung by Noel Harrison (Rex's son!), from the 1968 movie The Thomas Crowne Affair.

"And the world is like an apple whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find in the windmills of your mind!"

As Trump says, "You know we have a world, right?"

  1. “Gases are spewing into the atmosphere”: indeed they are.

To add to the lunacy: The New York Times todays reports on Trump administrations policies and bird deaths: “Not only has the administration stopped investigating most bird deaths, the documents show, it has discouraged local governments and businesses from taking precautionary measures to protect birds.”

  2. That's an Alan and Marilyn Bergman song, if I'm not mistaken. I've always liked it, though it IS a little trippy.

Trump's obsession with windmills is bizarre. (Not to mention, in this case, ungrammatical.)

  3. MICHAEL: Trump is a bird brain.

STEVE: I like that song too! And you're right-- I looked it up:
""The Windmills of Your Mind" is a song with music by French composer Michel Legrand and English lyrics written by Americans Alan and Marilyn Bergman."

    Trump is bizarre.
