Photo Plunk

Leaving for work in 7 minutes (or so)--just want to plunk some photos here.

BELOW: Book from 1969, Hope and Help for Your Nerves--outdated in some ways, but offers some still-sound advice:  e.g. sometimes it's better to go out and be annoyed by people than to suffer/enjoy "the lonely peace of solitude". 
Not talking about introvert/extrovert personalities here, but more like survival tactics.
 I think of my mother who got TOO isolated--I believe loneliness was one of the things that drove her to take her life, and yet she hated being with people...

 "Talk to my little dog" is a good survival tactic, but if I ever read anything that screamed "YOU NEED FEMINISM", this is it:

Sold on the store's ebay--just the box from 1979--the buyer said, "I always wanted the toy, not at least I can have the box":

Another cool dish at the store--made by Red Wing Potteries in MN:

 AND... another ebay sale for the store---this book is hot right now. Sold for $60.

And, oddly? this one sold quickly too. Maybe because it's in such great almost-like-new shape?
