Tulip the golden mohair bear, has arrived at her new home in Upstate New York, where she will live with my friend Krista.
You can see Tulip's Restoration, Part 1, here (follow links to parts 2 &3).
The Orphan Reds had presented her with a little bear (thrift store rescue) as a traveling companion, so she wouldn't have to fly alone in the dark.

At their new home:
Tulip looks a little pensive but maybe excited on the inside. Love that the Orphan Reds gave her her own little bear.
ReplyDeleteMohair bears are the best!
Kirsten
Tulip looks very pleased in her new home, and with her new bear friend.
ReplyDeleteThat bear has good friends.
ReplyDeleteI got Elaine a tiny bear just like that white one when she was in the hospital many moons ago. Name: Pnin, the Nabokov character.
KIRSTEN: She is a thoughtful bear. I'd say that Bears of earlier eras often are less overtly happy than modern bears.
ReplyDeleteBINK: Yes. Very pleased, Krista reports.
MICHAEL: TINY BEARS! I told Krista about Pnin. Thanks.
