[NOTE: IN these political times, this could be read as slightly ominous, but really, it's lighthearted---Penny Cooper is just an eight-year-old girl (doll) who likes to write things with her pencil and has a liking for categorizing things in lists. I think she might grow up to be some sort of social scientist...]
As of this afternoon, Penny Cooper has signed up ALL the toys who live here.
Some of the Yellowstone Bears didn't want to sign up at first. She assured them that it was
1. 100% entirely optional
2. private (everyone knows Penny Cooper would NEVER tell a secret---I only know about this from the other toys), and
3. endlessly rescindable: toys can un-sign themselves at any time, simply by THINKING ABOUT IT, and also sign on again too, same way.
So then the Yellowstone Bears did want to sign on.
Some of the toys who signed up earlier have been signing themselves in and out several times a day. Penny Cooper patiently keeps track of it all.
I expect they will soon forget all about it, but for now, everyone is very pleased. Penny Cooper not least of all.
