Yes! But TOUGH paws:Minnesota terriers walk out all winter long on ice and snow!Sometimes they wear booties, but that's more for protection from the nasty salt people sprinkle on their sidewalks (to melt ice).
P.S. Actually, it's true sometimes when it's REALLY cold they prance around, lifting one paw, then the other, wanting to go back in.
