My mother used to make hot chocolate from scratch, using Hershey's cocoa, powdered milk, lots of sugar, with a few drops of orange flavoring to disguise the powdered milk flavor.
Good stuff! (When you're a little kid who doesn't know any better and has never seen - much less tasted - Hershey's chocolate syrup, that is.)
