"We’re human beings, with the blood of a million savage years on our hands. But we can stop it. We can admit that we’re killers … but we’re not going to kill today.
That’s all it takes!
Knowing that we’re not going to kill today." *
-- Captain James T. Kirk

See, the world would be such a better place if we all had to wear rubber galoshes on our heads. Who could do anything menacing without breaking down into gentle giggles? Roddenberry knew his stuff.
ReplyDeleteI concur with glee! Jeezuz and pigs in blankets with lipstick and old stinkin' fishies wrapped up in newspapers with molding, sodden chips, Fresca, you do know the way to shine the light into our gloomy, jaded hearts.
