You can guess how it is that I know that. When I called the company to complain, they suggested washing the trays with water and vinegar every couple of months and not storing cubes in the tray. Yeah, right. That these trays (brandname: Tovolo) were recommended on the Cool Tools website adds an awkward layer of irony.
