I wish Auntie Vi were alive so I could call and tell her that Queen Elizabeth died today at the same age she did--ninety-six--and one year later, almost to the day. (Vi died September 10, 2021).
My aunt and the queen had some similar qualities, as many of that generation did--including a steady hand. Waving on.
Now I would have loved to meet her!

ReplyDeleteLINDA SUE: This sweater is one of the few things I saved at Vi's death. Vi was a tiny person--barely 5' tall--so unfortunately it doesn't fit me--I've been thinking of what I might do with it.
It's a cotton-silk blend, I think..
Ideas?
Even if I do nothing with it but look at it, I'm happy to have it.
