Стар Трек, любовь моя (Star Trek, My Love)

Here it is! In Russian!
Translated by "Capt. J. L. Paparazzzzi"
(I'm not posting it on youTube until she shows it next month to the Russian Star Trek Club gathering--a big camping trip in woods outside Moscow, I gather-- but I thought you guys might get a kick out of seeing it, some of you. I wish I could show it to Obama, our Vulcan president... Is he still in Moscow?)

Here's the original in English, from last summer, if you haven't seen it:
Star Trek, My Love.

I just had to watch both of them. So well done; I'd forgotten all of the nuances in this video. From global to personal, wow. The Russians will love it.

Thanks, Deanna!
I do hope the Russian Trekkies will love it. (J.L. said she did.)
I seriously do wish Obama and Putin and Medvedev could sit and watch it together... Wouldn't that be funny?

I fell in love with "Star Trek, My Love" all over again this morning. Barack Hussein Obama, our 44th President of the United States of America, would surely love it, too. Isn't he off to see the Pope now?

Hmmm... the pope, eh? GIves me ideas...

I'm happy to see this again, and I read all the comments over on YouTube. It's so wonderful that people tell you that something you made touched them.
I hope you hear back from J.L. what the Russian Star Trek Club had to say!

Spasibo bolshoe, Fresca...good work.

Watching the original again...its just excellent...to the heart of the matter in a couple of minutes.

I was very uncertain of that vid when I first made it, as you might remember, so I've been extra amazed at how many people have commented--strangers and friends--that it touched them.

I guess it's one of those examples of how telling the simple truth (not that that's simple to do!) is a good thing to do.

I am eager to hear how it's received in Moscow. Will let you know what "Jean Luc" reports, if she does. (I hope she will.)

Tears streaming from re-watching, and then to see the Russian---as you would say,"terrr-rific!" If I end up doing the Trans-Siberian railroad trip with my dad, I'm going to have to figure out a way to watch it while there (they're pretty wired across the whole route, now, apparently).

Cool, Maura!
I am curious how accessing Internet works when travelling out of the US. You must go find out!
