The Woman behind the Gorn

Not a self-portrait, (I seem to have exhausted all my ideas for those in 6 days), but Bink's second Photoshop: "Fresca and the Gorn."

I am speechless, indeed, at the wonder of Photoshop and Bink. And, of course, the Gorn. Funny--you may remember, I actually met the guy (stunt man) in the suit, Bobby Clark, at the Las Vegas Star Trek con. I should repost that photo, maybe, of the two of us. Oh! I see I never posted it at all! OK, maybe later.

Hey! March-baby!

I thougtcha did post a photo of Bobby Clark back in the summer, or maybe you had stuff your readers could click on to see a photo of him, cuz i know what he looks like sans get-ups.

And, perhaps, because of my MN-landlocked winter color and light deficiency, i find myself delighted-- (but somehow, not surprised!)-- at how in Bink's photo your skin color reflects and echos back to us the rich and lively rosy tones of the landscape, your hair repeats the slick and steely tones of the Gorn's skin, eyeballs and the phallic-looking weapon thingy(?!) he is holding. And then, there is the contrast of your gazes: the Gorn's: pseudo-reptilian, metallic, perhaps all-seeing, and multi-directional, yet not revealing to us humanoids; yours: so mammalian-familiar, defineably focused, moist and flesh-based, full of Earthly desires and mysteries. Parallel intelligences and perceptions...OOh! here come Ilios and rosy Dawn rising and filling up our East window with late winter light. Hey! that's the name of an old Bergman flick (b&w).

Love and Seeds and Garden Dreams!

Stef: Yeah, I did post a picture of Bobby Clark--good memory! But I have one of me with him too, but when I look too ugly in it to post...
The instrument the Gorn is holding is a microphone/translator, so he can talk to Kirk.

Ah--Winter Dreams, yes, I think I turned that one off halfway through it was so bleak.

So very awesome! Like your pose with the Pope (is it the same base image of you?) you look so sly and knowing... :)

Hi, Jen!
Gold star for you!
Bink took me away from the pope and gave me to the Gorn, where I am much happier.
