The movie trailer will be up Monday, Nov. 17, at noon (CST), on the official Paramount Star Trek XI site (www.startrekmovie.com). As of today, the cool "Under Construction" teaser is still up--it shows the classic NC-1701 Enterprise being built.

Fascinating. I'm sure I'll see the movie for curiosity's sake. Around here we're hoping it won't take itself too seriously, seeing as the (original) show never did.

Oh, I'll definitely see the movie--I'm even looking forward to it--but I'm bracing myself for more a distinct absence of ham-and-cheese, which is what I so love about TOS... The trailer looks awfully self-important.
